Room parents are the option of each teacher. Depending on the needs of each teacher, they usually help the teacher schedule other classroom volunteers to help with things like reading, math, copying, or party planning. The Room Parent Coordinator coordinates all the room parents. He/she provides information to the room parents and works with them to obtain volunteer support within each classroom for different PTSA programs (e.g., fall fundraiser, Eager Reader).

This year due to district rules, room parents will only be able to assist teachers virtually.

The State PTA winners are entered into the National PTA contest. Chair promotes and organizes the program in conjunction with the State PTA. This year Reflections will be virtual.
